More About Walking On Water Ministries International
The purpose of Walking On Water Ministries International is to teach the world that it is not about us. When God called me to minister, he charged me to go forth and teach his word and preach the gospel; the good news.
John 17:16 teaches us that we are not of the world. Genesis 1:26-27, teaches us that God made us and he made us in his own image. Verse 28, teaches us that when God made us, he also blessed us and commanded us to be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue [to conquer and reduce to subjection]. God created us to have dominion. Dominion comes by way of the blessing of the Lord that maketh rich and adds no sorrow with it. (Proverbs 10:22)
So then, what’s the blessing?
The blessing is the Holy Spirit. The same spirit that was in Christ Jesus.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 2:5
When you have the Holy Spirit, you have everything you need [in spirit and in truth]. (John 4:24)
Before man could become a living soul, God had to breathe his spirit in him. It’s the spirit that gives life. (John 6:63)
Philippians 4:19 teaches us that God supplies all of our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
With God’s spirit there is no law against it. (Galatians 5:23)
Being filled with God’s spirit allows us to be filled with:
- unconditional love
- unspeakable joy
- a peace that surpasses all understanding
- patience that sustains you to want nothing while you wait on the Lord
- a lovingkindness that never runs out (Ephesians 2:7)
- a goodness that will follow you all the way until the end (Psalm 23:6)
- a humble spirit that allows you to inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5)
- self-control that is birthed out of God’s grace (1 Corinthians 12:9)
Once filled with the Holy Spirit of God, we are then able to be who God created us to be. The Holy Spirit strengthens us in a special way and allows us to have faith and live a selfless life, not a selfish life.
How do I teach the world that it is not about us?
By being sent…
Romans 10:14-15;17 says, How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
By hearing the word…
Through online and in person bible studies, you will be able to study and meditate on the word of God so that you can not only do the word of God, but BE the word of God.
By being a doer of the word…
Through hands on training and application, you will be able to log on to the lessons of your choice and complete the course studies at your own pace.
BY going out into the world after hearing the word of God, Walking On Water MInistries International has been able to meet God’s people where they are and meet there needs spiritually and naturally.
Matthew 25:34-36 teaches and inspires us to:
- provide for those who are hungry and thirsty
- provide shelter for those without a home
- provide clothing for those without clothing
- provide healing prayer to the sick through visitation
- provide encouraging words to those in prison through visitation and letters
Whether if we are feeding the homeless or praying for a person, we never go anywhere without the spirit of God. With a genuine smile on our face and love in our hearts, Walking On Water Ministries International not only sees a need, but we fill a need.
Whether if you are a partner with Walking On Water Ministries International or another ministry and you are reading this, I want you to know that I am praying for your faith to not fail; believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will be strengthened and then able to turn back and do the same for another.
Walking On Water Ministries International not only sees a need, but we fill a need.
In Matthew 7:12, God teaches us, Do unto others as we would want others to do unto you. In other words treat people the way you would want to be treated. When you apply this golden rule, you are able to understand our mission: to teach the world that it is not about us. However, it does require us. It requires us to be the change we want to see in the world.
So, if you are tired of complaining and trying to figure out why are things the way they are, I want to personally invite you to come and learn with us. Step out of the boat and…
Walk On Water!
Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who God created you to be.
