More About Dr. Andrea Johnson

Several years ago my financial life changed when I encountered a group that taught personal finance classes. I saw this as an answered prayer and began applying what I learned to my own life. Since that time I have been committed to assisting individuals and organizations on how to manage their finances, credit and debt.  I am committed to giving hope to those that are ready to change their financial future.

I have also served as a faculty member in sociology at several universities including, but not limited to North Carolina A&T State University and High Point University. In addition to my professional experiences, I also earned a bachelor's and master's degree in sociology (North Carolina A&T State University and North Carolina State University respectively) and a doctoral degree in Leadership Studies from North Carolina A&T State University. I also completed the coursework in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional Education Program and I am also a Certified Financial Education Instructor.

I have also written several books on topics such as entrepreneurship, personal finance and credit, and college planning. I am also the founder and president of BRIDGE, a nonprofit organization that serves the Thomasville, NC community and surrounding areas. To learn more about BRIDGE visit .
