WellnessTalks is an ongoing project started by Todd Schmenk, a mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of anxiety-related issues at AQAL Therapies Inc. in Providence, RI.
Covid-19 Flexibility Tools
Weekly support practices based on the book "Team Positive", designed to increase mental and emotional flexibility in the face of an unforeseen and difficult challenge, initially for a diagnosis like Crohn's disease or cancer, but adapted for current Covid-19 challenges. This program was created in response to ever increasing requests for assistance during a time of social distancing, offering an opportunity to belong to a community while developing new, useful, and life-long skills.
A Mindfulness Primer
You have probably heard about it before, know someone who did it once or even did it yourself but didn't know you were doing it. The fact is that anyone can have a mindfulness practice, it not obscure or exotic and it is something that we already do whether or not we realize it. This course is an introduction to build your own personalized practice, from basic and easy exercises you can begin immediately to how to set up your own practice. This course includes downloadable guided session podcast
