This course is designed to provide the participant with more information on diabetes prevention, updates on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), reimbursement options for DPP coaches, plus more. This course has been approved by NCHEC for 2 CECH advanced level credits.

Pharmacological Options For the Management of Diabetes

This course is a 4hr-CE self-study, self-paced course on pharmacological treatment options for diabetes. It covers the pathophysiology of diabetes, a comprehensive understanding of the drug classes for treating diabetes, their MOAs, advantages, disadvantages, safety concerns, dosing regimens and renal considerations as well as a thorough review of insulin and therapy considerations. Approved for 4hrs of Pharmacology CE by West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses.
