Teaching artist specializing in classes about fabric design, artist tech skills, running an Etsy shop, creativity, and more. I love beginners and empowering artists to conquer technology barriers.
Artist Tech Skills: Business Cards
Learn how to design and print your own business cards. You will learn to use simple and low cost apps to create the design and see several options for printing them at home or online. Get ideas for ways to use your business cards as more than just a hand out, but to help you connect to customers.
Artist Tech Skills: Fabric Labels
Learn to make custom fabric labels that you can sew into clothing, accessory and home decor items that you make to sell. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires specific labeling on clothing and home decor items for sale and if you are an artist just starting out or you only make a small number of goods, it can be a big investment to get custom labels printed. In this class I will show you several simple and inexpensive ways to create and print your own labels.

It's the ideal class for beginners who are new to fabric design. You don't need any special software or skills to get started. This is your first step and "Step One" in the title means that it will be a pre-requisite for many of my other classes.
