11 Names of the Divine Mother

This mantra – The 11 Names of the Goddess – is pulled directly from the Durga Saptashati (a.k.a. 700 verses of Durga, Devi Mahatmyam, or Chandi Path), an ancient text believed to have been composed in Sanskrit approximately 1500 years ago.  The practice of this mantra seeks to awaken potent forces (shaktis) within us, re-tuning and re-minding us of our essence as a unique vibration in the larger symphony of the universe.

I invite you to ask questions, initiate discussion and reach out to me directly as you weave the sounds of this practice into your life. We greatly benefit when we know there are others on the same path and for many of us, the learning process can be linear and lonely. While alone time to immerse ourselves in practice is necessary, it’s also beneficial to engage with a community willing to support!
