How Does This Course Work?
This is an online six week programme aimed at expectant mothers. It can be done at any stage of pregnancy. Each week you gain access to a new breathing exercise and a new guided relaxation to enjoy throughout that week. The breathing exercsies are videos and the relaxations are audio files.
At the end of the six weeks you can re-use any of the breathing exercises and relaxations whenever you want, to get you ready for the birth of your baby. Susan also explains different ways to sit or lie to get the most out of the programme.
No experience of yoga or meditation is necessary to take part and no specialist equipment is needed either (i.e. you don't even need a yoga mat!)
This is the perfect way to get you ready for that transition into motherhood and get some serious relaxation in before baby arrives!

Can I do this at any stage of pregnancy?
Yes. you can. Guided relaxations and breathing exercises can be done in all stages of pregnancy - from the first few weeks to days before giving birth. If fact many people will be using the breathing exercies during labour itself. As a new mum, you may even wish to returm to the guided relaxations in the first few weeks of baby arriving (although we have a separate course for this called Rest Mama Rest: Guided relaxations for Whilst Baby Sleeps)
Do I need any special equipment to do this course?
No, you don't need a yoga mat or any other special equipment at all. The only things Susan may recommend you need are cushions, blankets or other props to make you really comfortable - all things you are likely to have around your home already.
I've never done yoga of anything like this before - can I still do it?
Of course you can! This course is suitable for anyone who is pregnant, whether you have done breathing exercises, yoga or guided relaxations (yoga nidra) before or not. Susan talks you through exactly how to do each exercise plus their is both email support and a Facebook Support Group too!
