How Does the Course Work?

This is an online six week week programme aimed at NEW mummies. It can be done at any stage after the birth of your baby (but in the early weeks of sleeplessness it can be particularly effective). 

Each week you listen to a new guided relaxation to enjoy throughout that week. The guided relaxations are audio files and there are accompanying explanatory videos. At the end of the six weeks you can re-use any of the relaxations whenever you want, to keep you relaxed and catching up sleep whilst baby sleeps. Susan also explains different ways to sit or lie to get the most out of the programme. 

No experience of yoga or meditation is necessary to take part and no specialist equipment is needed either (i.e. you don't even need a yoga mat!)

What if baby only sleeps on me?

Not a problem, you can listen to the relaxations whilst baby sleeps on you. Susan will demonstrate some handy ways to get comfortable seated with baby on you.

I've never done yoga before, can I do this course?

Yes, of course you can. No prior experience of yoga or guided meditation is needed at all.

How soon after baby is born can I start?

As soon as you want. This course only contains guided relaxations that are intended to be listened to whilst lying or seated comfortably - they can even be done from bed. There are no yoga poses (asanas) in this course apart from Savasana (corpse pose) - lying on your back. We even include a handy video on moving safely to the ground from standing so as not to put pressure on the abdominal or pelvic floor regions.
