The Art of Self Massage

Have you ever gotten a massage and thought to yourself, “I need this more often”? 

Have you ever used a foam roller and thought, “there must be a better way to do this”?

In this workshop you will learn how to use easy techniques and inexpensive tools to relieve aches and pains, enhance breathing function, increase mobility, energize, reduce stress, improve posture, and increase your performance.

We will cover every area of your body teaching you self-myofascial release techniques. All of these techniques will be easy for your replicate using simple tools like tennis balls. 

Using balls, you can give yourself a massage whenever you'd like one, and counteract the effects of long days on your feet or at the computer. You control the pressure to generate a deep tissue or gentle massage; you control the pace and your arms will never get tired. In a relaxed environment, Andrea will guide you through ball rolling techniques that will help you become more aware of your bodily tension and resolve that tension by working connective tissue and muscles. Working from the feet to the head, Andrea will help you address old injuries, scar tissue, and general stiffness.
