A warm welcome to this page which will give you more information about this training.
The training consists of a recorded Webinar (available to download and keep) to talk you through a well thought-out training that will certainly create a more therapeutically minded school [or parent group - depending on who you want to pitch it to].
With it comes a downloadable PowerPoint that you can make your own; as well as a bullet-point PDF script and teaching tips that you can use if you want to as a guide.
The training will include experiential and creative exercises for the teachers to get them moving and interacting with you, each other and the material - so it goes deeply in. By design, the training is not theory-laden but aims to provide a lighter, more 'entertaining' and yet impactful change in the participants.
By law, schools are required to provide 5 INSET days per academic year to their teachers - a healthy budget is supplied for this. You can adapt the training as you want and offer it as a 2 hour - or more - training. A minimum charge for 2 hours is £150 with £300 being a good figure.
In addition you can extend the training (some ideas are provided), adapt it for different audiences (parents, managers, Heads, SENCo's etc) or create additional trainings as well as provide ongoing teacher support with this training as a spring-board.
The training is only accessible online and will cease to be available from 10 July 2020.
Fully recommend this training. Hosted this several times in schools and had great feedback. Your training is great! Through the programme it has enabled me to increase my confidence further and I have just designed my own training using puppets in conflict resolution for the school I work for as per their request.— Tania Bower-Yates
Hi Lara. I just wanted to send a message to say that I used your 3 secrets training last night. I adapted it quite a bit, but the overall framework was the same. I had great feedback (it was my first training for a teaching school) and of the head teacher has already asked them to book me again so that the rest of their staff can do it! 😀 so thank you so much. You gave me the push I needed to get out there, and I have now been asked to run other trainings too.— Rachel Hill
