Taking Health Education to the Next Level: Opportunities in Diabetes Care

The purpose of this course is to introduce the health educator to opportunities in diabetes care. It will provide knowledge about diabetes prevention programs, evidence that supports the role of the health educator in a diabetes management, as well as professional development requirements. The supporting lessons provide additional insights into practice options of a Certified Diabetes Educator as well roles of a supporting staff.
