Sententia Level 1 -- Gamification Apprentice

An individual who has earned a Level 1- Gamification Apprentice Certification has received introductory training and demonstrates the necessary understanding of the fundamentals of gamification as it applies to the 5-step process of gamifiying an organizational quest (training and development program) within an organization. The Gamification Apprentice has completed basic training in the 5-step Game the System™ model for gamification learning design, gathered data, participated in problem-solving exercises, analyzed case studies, and added their personal experiences to the exploration process.

A Gamification Apprentice typically has a basic knowledge of gamification, but has not designed or led projects on their own.

Length of Course – 6 contact hours - No coding skills required.

How soon will I receive feedback on my submitted challenges or quests?

You can expect to have feedback so that you can tally the XPs you’ve collected within 48 hours of your submission.

This is my first attempt at gamification, what happens if I don’t earn the 6,000 XPs necessary to be awarded my Level 1 Certification?

The team at Sententia wants you to be successful at applying a gamification strategy in your workplace. The quests are designed to be thought provoking and help you to consider how the information discussed might be applied in your organization. If you submit your assignments you should be able to earn the necessary XPs. There are opportunities to earn extra XPs for both yourself and other players.

I am not a techie. I am not a programmer, I don't know or like code and I am not a designer... will I be able to do take the course and earn my certification?

Lucky for you, gamification ≠ technology.
