In this 24/7 world we are often fully 'connected' with our phones, computers, work, TV schedules, duties and responsibilities but often sadly 'disconnected' with who we are as women and individuals.

This brand new self-paced ecourse is all about regaining that essence of you, celebrating your life and taking Delight in the little things that make you happy.

We will be rekindling happy childhood memories using paint and collage.  Capturing little moments with family in the here and now using photos and collage.  Relishing sacred moments in nature, a beautiful walk or enjoying some much needed 'you' time.  We'll be on the look out for what brings us Delight in the here and now using our cameras.

I’ll be sharing with you 30 days of my favourite tips and tricks as well as the basics of ‘art‘ and ‘journalling‘, along with flower pressing, out ‘n’ about sketching from life, journal prompts, collage how to’s, 3D collage 'altar box', handmade journal, some self-portraiture using our cameras and creating some whimsical and primitive styled ‘women/girls’.

This ecourse is ideal for beginners and anyone else who is finally ready to make space for creativity, play and whimsy!

Topics will also include learning some of the relaxation techniques I use before creating artwork, learning a little about aromatherapy and how it works beautifully when combined with painting from the heart, some ways to banish your inner critic once and for all, and so much more...

There will be full video lessons where  will go over each process so that you will know how to create these pieces yourself but not only that, to also tap into your own imagination with authenticity and ‘Delight‘!

How long is the ecourse available for?

Indefinitely.

What basic supplies do I need for the ecourse?

I include a video of the supplies I use but to get sorted ahead of time I would recommend the following:

  • Watercolour paper
  • Art Journal or sketchbook
  • Gesso (white)
  • Some acrylic paints.
  • Basic watercolour paints.
  • A selection of paint brushes.
  • Collage items - from magazines, tissue paper, old books etc.
  • Water spray
  • Palette (for acrylic paint) - or use some waxed paper if you don't have a palette
  • Markers (don't buy specially though)
  • Old box or ready-made blank box for 3d 'altar' project (if poss).
  • An open heart and mind to happy accidents, whimsy and play!
  • Flowers or leaves to press - (I use a microwave flower press but you could use a large book).

I've bought this class, can I now share it with a friend?

No – as you will appreciate, it takes me a lot of time to create these offerings and the money I make helps feed my family. If you’d like to take the ecourse with your ‘bestie’ friend, then that’s a great way to share the experience with her! Thanks for understanding...

Can I share my pictures/paintings across social media or my blog please?

Yes, by all means but please be sure to share details of my ecourse and/or link back and use #delightartecourse when posting on social media. I am also more than happy to share your artwork on my blog and Facebook Page with your permission, of course.

How will I gain access to the course?

Upon payment, you will be directed to a screen that asks you to either create an account via Course Craft (the platform I am using for this ecourse) or sign in (if you already have an account). Your user name will be your email address and you will be asked to make a password which will then be used throughout for access to this ecourse.

How will I know if there is fresh content for this ecourse?

You will receive an email (using the one you registered with) every time new content is available for you to view. You will then simply log in using your details and access the new classes. Please note: if you change your email address, you may have trouble viewing your ecourse.

I don't have much time, do I have to attempt all the projects?

The ecourse has 30 days of material but you have access indefinitely to the ecourse so please feel free to dip in and out whenever you wish. I encourage you to try all the projects and ideas but do so at a pace which suits you. Often, women tell me that they also have enjoyed creating a piece more than once because something different comes through each time. Listen to your heart, I say...

What else will I need?

Computer and a high speed internet connection so you can view my videos.

  • I loved working through the Embrace e-course. It was a wonderful combination of art and journalling prompts that I can use time and time again. Each week was filled with new and inspiring ways to discover more about myself and my life through words and pictures. And the gentle spiritual element of the projects were delightful.

  • ‘I just love this ecourse and love the videos, the way you talk about things is like listening to a friend and on the muddy path (I think it was day 2 of week 1) with your husband and Mia, your dog, it made me laugh and it all is so recognisable. Just love watching the videos and reading the text. I didn’t paint yet (because I didn’t have much time) but this morning did something with a colored pencil in my journal. I’m looking forward to each new day of this course’

    — Jacqueline
  • I want you to know you inspired me to move beyond some of my rough drafts in life. I began seeing the painting inside before I start to work on it–something that tethered me was severed from taking your Embrace. I began taking pictures again and doing some photo editing, painting and writing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Many blessings to you.
