Breathwork and Meditation

Breathing.  We do it every moment of every day, around every 3 second.  It is our essence.  Our life force.  It is also an easy, accessible and free way to restore balance  in our system, de-escalate, maintain calm, relieve stress and connect with our spirit or a higher power.  In this course you'll explore a variety of different types of breathwork and develop your practice as well as diving deeper into mindfulness.

What will I learn?

We will introduce you to the foundations of mindfulness, various pranayama practices, counted and diaphragmatic breathwork and numerous other forms of breathwork that help support your nervous system and develop your body, mind and soul awareness.

Examples of meditation and breathwork practices you will be introduced to:

  • the STOP Method
  • Tonglen
  • Rain
  • Zen
  • Mindful movement, eating and breathwork
  • Metta
  • Kirtan, Vipassana and TM

All revenue from our courses goes to provide private trauma, grief and recovery coaching services and therapy to individuals with no insurance or who cannot afford mental health services due to financial reasons.

What kind of support will I get?

You will have discussions available on each lesson as well as 2 coaching sessions from Jessica that are 30 minutes long if you desire to have those. You always have the option to purchase more 1:1 sessions.

I'm interested in the certification program. Can I work on this single course while I wait for open enrollment?

You can, but this course is also included in your course content bundle for the certification for the Meditative and Mindfulness Based Art Life Coach certification. If you are taking the Mindfulness Based TIC Certified Educator program, this is a wonderful, more in depth course that you can take individually. It is not included in the MBTIC Certified Educator program.
