This weekend course is open to qualified or nearly qualified therapists, whether or not you already use the sand in your clinical work.
It is a very gentle, fun and informative course in a beautiful barn on the outskirts of Cambridge. SandStory is the brainchild of Lara Kasza, and it 'bridges the gap' between the Jungian SandPlay method, and the more directive SandTray working. We look at the work of Margaret Lowenfeld and her World Technique, and show how SandStory builds on the theory, using five structured stages and five elements of sand, water, tray, symbols and presence. Most importantly, the course is experiential and fun! You will get to do some practical work in your own sandtray (all COVID friendly) and some storytelling to learn how to encourage your clients to 'tell their story in the sand'.
Both days include a home cooked lunch and cake!
On completion of two short assignments relating to the weekend and your clinical practice you will qualify as a SandStory Therapist and have 14 hours of CPD accredited by the International SandStory Association. We have a full refund and cancellation policy, and payment is £300 - and payment options / instalments are available to talk through, just let me know!
Enhance your clinical work - AND have an opportunity for some personal development!

What about lunch and refreshments?
One of 'my' things is cooking! So I'm really happy to provide a yummy lunch on both days - you won't go hungry. I will also provide fruit, biscuits and cake to keep you going, and I will cater to your dietary requirements. Alternatively if you'd rather bring your own food, that's fine too!
