Modern life has got to the stage where we are living in our fight or flight mode more often than is healthy for us. News, social media, peer pressure, 24/7 availability, jobs, families, fear, worry and many more circumstances all take their toll on our mental, emotional and physical health. We become overloaded, irritable, unable to relax or sleep well. In a chronic state, this level of stress can lead to depression, anxiety, insomnia and unhelpful coping mechanisms. I know, because I've been there.
Mindfulness is like a buffer. It allows you to view things from a different perspective, winning you a much-needed second or two before reacting or responding. It can cultivate a deep sense of inner calm within, helping you to shift from looking outside of yourself for the problems and the solutions, and instead tuning in for wisdom.

Using tools such as Mindfulness, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Gratitude and Love, it is possible to change your pathway, feel comfortable in your own skin and break free from the past. Around the age of 40, I dragged myself through an 8-week NHS Mindfulness course in an attempt to crawl out of depression and anxiety caused by various things. Bit by bit, I started to get better and now Mindfulness is part of my daily life. Since then, I have undertaken extensive training, included Mindfulness teaching, to be able to help others dig themselves out just like I did. However, I realise that not everyone has the time or money to attend an 8-week course. Some people just want a taster or simply to try something new. That's why I've made this course just for you!
