Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the course?

Forever! Once you've enrolled and paid, you'll have access to the course material for as long as you need. So devour it all in one weekend or take things slow. It's your choice!

Will this course keep me from needing to see a lactation consultant or needing formula?

No! This resource is NOT designed to be a substitute for in-person or professional healthcare advice. This course will better equip you to ask the right questions. It can give you a sense of when seeking a second opinion from another professional might be a good idea. But some breastfeeding issues will require in-person and/or professional support, and some babies will need formula. That said, breastfeeding education can help lower your chances of experiencing issues that necessitate formula or the need for professional lactation care.

Can't I just ask my pediatrician for breastfeeding help?

Unfortunately, many pediatricians jump to a dairy-free formula as the solution to dairy issues, denying baby the many immune-system-supporting and nutrition benefits of human milk. The truth is, most pediatricians don't actually have lactation training or may have incomplete breastfeeding education. That said, you should ALWAYS let your pediatrician know about any symptoms your baby has and inform him or her of your desire to keep breastfeeding.

Is this course the quick-fix, easy solution I'm looking for?

Probably not. Dairy-free eating requires some level of commitment to diet change. Action will be required on your part.
