Your aura is YOU. You are more than just a physical body, you are a radiant being of light.
Your aura is the non-physical part of who you are: your energy, feelings, thoughts, essence and personality, experiences and relationships, gifts, skills, weaknesses and more….
I began reading and sketching the Aura in 1998, and created the Aura cards in 2011. Since that time, the cards have made their way into the lives of many beautiful souls, spreading light, joy, wisdom and magic in their wake.
Every week, I have at least one person reach out to say thank you, or to share an amazing spread, or to ask for another set because they gave theirs to a friend who fell in love with them.
The Aura Cards have organically meandered their way throughout Australia and even further afield, with decks in New Zealand, England, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Ireland, America, Hong Kong and probably other places I don’t know about! The cards seem to have a life of their own, and I love the way they speak so clearly to so many.
For many years now, people have been asking me to run courses on Reading the Aura Cards. I have hosted a few courses on the art of reading cards intuitively, with the Aura Cards as the primary focus, but this course is different. This time, I’m going to tell you what the cards mean to me: how they were created, what the colours mean to me, how I read them.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone with a deck of Aura Cards who wants to learn more about them and improve their Aura Card reading skills.
This is also a fantastic course of study for anyone who is fascinated with colour, chakras, and the aura, also known as the light-body or energy field.
If you don’t have a deck of Aura Cards, but you’re interested, you can find out more about the cards HERE, and contact me to ask about purchasing your deck.
If you have noooo idea what I'm on about and what an aura even is, this course probably isn't for you!
How long does it go for and when do we start?
This is a four-week self-study online course, with a lesson emailed out to you once a week, but you can study at your own pace, with lifetime access to each lesson.
This course launches on the 1st of August 2020. This is when the first lesson will be emailed out, but you're welcome to enroll sooner. In fact, that might be a good idea, given I'm giving early birds the special introductory price of $60. This will expire at the end of July, after which, the price will go up to $80 (Australian dollars).
After the 1st of August 2020, students can enroll and start any time. The first lesson will arrive as soon as you enroll.
Are there set class times?
No, this is a self-study course, to be done in your own time, at your own pace.
There are no time commitments.
There is, though, a vibrant online community I encourage you to become part of if you aren’t already; a free Facebook group called “Reading the Aura Cards”.
This is where you can come to ask questions, practice your homework with other students, and get help with interpreting card spreads.
If you're curious about the Aura Cards but not quite ready yet to order a deck of your own and study, you are welcome to join this group.

What will I learn?
The best way to explain this is to simply give you a sneak peak into the lesson outline:
Lesson 1 – Introduction
This lesson tells you a bit about my history, how I ended up becoming an aura reader and how the Aura Cards came about. We explore my Aura Colour heritage, the lineage the Aura Cards have at their roots. We also define the aura, what it can tell us, and how the Aura Cards work. Along the way, I'll demonstrate how to draw and read single cards.
Lesson 2 – Colour Theory, Visual Illusions & Warm Colours
In this lesson, we move on to two card readings, and how they link in with basic colour theory, such as warm and cool colours. The way we see and read one card can change when we place another card beside it! And we look at warm colours through the lens of the first three chakras.
Lesson 3 – Spreads, the Heart Chakra and Story-telling
Next comes the two colours of the heart chakra! We explore relationship spreads, three-card readings and the art of story-telling. Colours can be read in terms of setting, character and story-line. The three card spread we use in this lesson is a brilliant tool to use when learning the art of creating a 'story-line'.
Lesson 4 – Intention Setting, Cool Colours and the Chakra Spread
Some of the uncertainty around how to interpret any card you draw can be resolved by narrowing the parameters of possibility using question asking, intention setting and position meanings in spreads. In this lesson we explore these skills, cool colours and the full 7-chakra spread.

Many people ask about Omanisa’s name. The name ‘Omanisa’ is an American Indian man’s name, meaning ‘wanderer’ or ‘soul drifter’. When Omanisa was born, it was the only name on the short-list of baby names that really suited her. Omanisa spent her childhood in Alice Springs in Central Australia, and now lives in Darwin, Northern Australia, with her husband. Om began working as a healer in 1996. She's been sketching and reading the aura since 1998, and practicing full time from her own clinic since graduating as a naturopath in 2003.
