Neuroanatomy for rehab therapists introduces the therapist to common anatomy and systems that are targeted within the neurological patient for recovery of locomotion and rhythmic patterns.
It offers foundation knowledge to enable the therapist to reflect on their techniques and approaches and how they may be able to improve them directly or within the multi- disciplinary team.
Assessment is ongoing across each topic and aims to link the assessments with practical day to day work that the therapist is already undertaking. This approach of assessment enables the therapist to have a reflective approach to their work and progress themselves.
This unit can be undertaken as a stand alone or as part of the neurological series.
