Things to know
Before you apply I would like to highlight the following:
*The Sand can be a powerful therapeutic medium that access our unconscious. Therefore it is vital that the training focuses on developing skills to use safely, gently and ethically whilst empowering the client to share their story;
*SandStory Therapy® training will involve a high level of experiential learning, this may activate participants’ unconscious and trigger their own ongoing material. Although personal process and emotional expressions are welcome, participants are encouraged to hold themselves safely and appropriately within the containment of the training group , it is not a therapy group;
*There is an expectation that, as a therapist or counsellor, you are attending regular Clinical Supervision as set out by your Governing Body. Whilst using SandStory Therapy® in your client work, this should be able to be discussed within your normal supervision sessions. If you wish to discuss your SandStory Therapy® practice with The Trainer, she would be happy to support you;
*SandStory Therapy® training will qualify you with the title 'Registered SandStory Therapist' upon satisfactory completion of the 2-day training AND two short written assignments that evidence a thorough understanding of SandStory Therapy® and your ability to practice safely and ethically.
Understandably sometimes life gets in the way and we have to change plans. The cancellation policy is written in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2013, and is set out below - any questions please ask:
*Full payment (£300) needs to be made a minimum 2 weeks before the training, whether in full or by instalments.
*Any cancellation must be received in written, email, form.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of the cancellation.
Should the training be cancelled by Wendy a full refund will be available if the proposed replacement dates are not suitable.
Refund and Cancellation due to Covid-19
Due to these particularly uncertain times we understand that embarking
on new courses can be daunting, therefore we want to be as accommodating as possible regarding the flexibility of courses. As stated above the policy is that we ask for full payment due two weeks before the course.
However, if we are advised by the government to cancel the course, then a full refund will be given or the offer of future dates will be given.
We now have a risk assesment and a comprehensive policy regarding safe measures for the training during this pandemic. These will be uploaded in due course in a document available to download.
