Introduction to Drawing 3D Shapes
This FREE mini-course with Susan shows you exactly how to draw some of the most important and basic 3D shapes - cubes, spheres, cylinders and cones.
The course is broken down into several bite-sized modules and includes photos, step-by-step descriptions and videos of the stages to drawing realistic 3D shapes.
Why draw 3D shapes?
Depicting 3D shapes on the page can be a challenge to most people starting out with drawing (and even the most experienced). Getting a flat piece of paper to look like it stands out is a real skill that is handy for any artist.
By the end of the course
After completing this course you will be comfortable drawing the basic shapes of a cube, sphere, cylinder and cone in pencil. From here you can then develop your skills further and look to draw other objects and items with more confidence and technical skill.
Who is The Course For?
This is an easy-to-follow course suitable for beginners to drawing and those looking for a refresher in pencil drawing.
It is perfect for anyone who wants to understand the basics of interpreting a 3d shape such as a cube, sphere, cone and cylinder and putting this on paper using pencil.
