What are you waiting for?
No really? what are you waiting for?
- The perfect time?
- When you're not so busy?
- When Mercury is no longer in retrograde? ;-)
It's never going to be perfect. There's never a right time or any of the other reasons/excuses you might be telling yourself. #Today'sTheDay
How will people know about all the fabulous artwork you have for sale, if you don't tell them? Don't assume others will do it for you.
When you sell your art you can:
- use the money to pay for art supplies
- get rid of inventory and make room for more.
- have a second income.
- have an after-retirement or part time career
- get your family and friends to take your commitment to your art seriously!
When you start to sell your work, people start to take you seriously.
You're ready, I've got a plan. In fact I've got two.
Here's what you get.
Plan A comes with a stay-on-track worksheet you can download and print out. Keep it by you while you put your plan in action
Plan B comes with a stay-on-track worksheet you can download and print out. Keep it by you while you put your plan in action.
When you enroll in this course you'll get two ready made step-by-step plans based on the system I use to promote and sell my work everyday.
These two plans are perfect for artists who want a quick start guide for self-promotion and take a no-fuss approach to learning.
You can binge through the course in the morning and start taking the action steps in the afternoon.
Or you can take your time. You have unlimited access to the course. You can go through the lessons at your own pace, when it's convenient for you.

This course is a streamlined version of my full day in-person Jump start your Art Sales workshop, that teaches artists how to sell their artwork using the system I developed to find customers and to turn them into repeat customers.
Note: Jump Start Your Art Sales: Deluxe is the complete version online of the full day in-person workshop.
Compare the two courses
This course is perfect for you if you're:
- getting positive comments about your art from fellow artists, your instructors and friends.
- thinking about selling your art. (even if it's a very new thought)
- a self-starter who wants some basic guidelines and then likes to figure things out on your own.
- ready to sell your art, but don't know where or how to start.
- working steadily at improving your art skills.
- a part-time artist, who doesn't want to go pro, but would "hell yes" like to sell their artwork.
It's not for you if you:
- make consistent sales of your art. #congratultions
- already have a plan that works for you.
- are using Facebook and social media on a regular basis and see results.
- stay in touch with your customers and turn them into repeat customers.
- want/need more than the basics. You also want/need the foundations and the what's next? steps, too.
Note: Jump Start Your Art Sales: Deluxe gives you extra hand holding and lots of ways to personalize your plan and make it all about you!
Does this sound like you?
You love the creative process! One idea leads to another, you keep working and pretty soon you have an amazing collection of artwork that you're really proud of.
And to make it even better, your friends, family, and art instructors are telling you they love it too!
That feels really good, so you keep working, keep producing and getting better and better. And now you have more art than you can keep for yourself.
No really? Now what? What are you going to do with it?
Well, if you're anything like me you start giving it away.
Birthdays, holidays, housewarming parties, I gave them pottery. Until it got to the point where I just couldn't, absolutely couldn't, give them ANOTHER BOWL. (mug, plate, etc.)
But I didn't want to stop making pottery. So now what?
SELL IT! (if I could put a light bulb image here I would)
Q. Why didn't I think of it sooner?
A. The truth is, I did think of it sooner, but I put off taking action. I wasn't sure how to start. Who would buy? How would I do it?
Fortunately, I got encouragement from family and friends. I said. "I can do this" and got started. And I haven't stopped.
Not going to lie, there have been ups and downs. I've gone from selling a few pieces of pottery here and there to selling paintings and teaching classes and successful workshops. It didn't happen over night, but it wouldn't have happened at all if I'd never started. Duh!
I have one customer who's bought over 35 pieces from me. And many who've bought more than a dozen.
The majority of my customers own 3 to 5 pieces of my work and add to their collection every year. #notbraggingifitstrue
The experience was wonderful. Maggie is so knowledgeable, informative, insightful, and passionate. This translated to an amazing learning and sharing experience that was over too soon!— R. Feinberg
I'm not sure I'm ready to sell my art?
Sigh.........I know that feeling. Every artist goes through that at first. This course isn't about judging, it's about getting your friends, family and others, excited about you being an artist and taking them on the artistic journey with you. When you establish that kind of a connection with people, they want to support you. And they do it by purchasing from you.
Use the steps in the course to let people know about your artwork and see what happens. You'll be amazed by the positive response you receive. Your friends, family and others really do want to support you and see you succeed.
Maggie was prepared with extensive resources for a jam packed day of learning. She responded to all questions with tailored information which she added via emails to each of us. I was very pleased that the content covered more than I expected.— L. Devore

I'm just getting started and I'm not sure my work is ready to sell.

I want to sell reproductions of my art.
Great! Good for you! Use the action steps in this course to let people know you have reproductions for sale. It doesn't matter if you're selling original work or reproductions, you still need a plan. These plans do not contain instructions for making artwork or reproductions. Jump Start Your Art Sales: Deluxe does have some information specifically about reproductions. Such as sites you can use to produce and sell.
What if I'm unhappy with my purchase?
Well, I would be sad, I don't want any of my students to be unhappy. But if you're really unhappy with the course, email me within 5 days and tell me exactly why you don't like the course. I'll value your feedback and give you a full refund and we'll still be friends.
I still have a question, how can I contact you?
I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
