Daily Insights to Heal Emotional Pain

Before we can consistently live in our authentic selves we need to travel through the trail of unfelt emotions that we have accumulated throughout our lifetime. Spontaneous creativity expresses the truth about your emotions instead of how you wish you could feel from your socially acceptable self.

Your mind may tell you you should feel one way but your heart will always tell you a deeper truth. Spontaneous creative expression can help you bypass your self-critical mind to see and heal the emotional repression and self-rejection that happens when you live unquestioningly from your socialized self.

The hidden language of our deeper emotions can more easily reveal themselves through imagery and visual symbols before they shape into words. By making your inner world visual on the outside you become conscious. And, whatever you can see and accept, you can transform into love.

Meditating on your emotions visually through a daily creative practice invites mental surprise, emotional integration, and greater self-love. When you allow your unconscious emotions to express visually in their "first language" of symbols to your conscious mind, you can begin to allow the darker emotions of shame, sadness, anger and fear to transform into spiritual encouragement, self-love, and inner peace.
