The Courts may require divorcing parents, parents who may be separating or those who will be co-parenting together to complete an education course. This four-hour program often mandated by the courts was designed to help parents (who are co-parenting) focus on what is in the best interest of their children and how to work more cooperatively and effectively with each other.
If you have been ordered to take a Co-parenting, Divorcing Parents or Children's First program; or, simply have a desire to improve your co-parenting skills, our 4 hour online course is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any Internet based computer. The total course time is approximately four hours. You can logout and return at any time to continue your course. Your “Certificate of Completion” will be emailed or directly mailed to you once you complete this course and complete the quick exam. Please allow 3-5 business days for your certificate to arrive via email. If you would like the certificate mailed, please send a request or call our office.
The class curriculum will meet required court standards for a four-hour class and will satisfy the requirements for those needing a:
- Divorce Class for Parents
- Co-Parenting Class
- Children and Divorce Class
- Custodial Issues Course
We cannot guarantee that your particular court will accept a distance learning course. It is YOUR responsibility to confirm with the Judge or your attorney prior to taking the class as to whether your courts will accept this on-line course. There will be no refunds given after the course is purchased. There will also be a small test at the end of the course that must be completed to receive credit for the course. YOU MUST PASS THIS TEST. (Should you incorrectly answer 5 or more of the 10 course related questions, you will be directed to retake the course at no additional expense for a second attempt. Any additional attempts will be completed by re-enrolling in the course)
