CourseCraft

The Self-Directed Tinnitus E-Programme is available to a) offer choice and b) can be generally suitable if your THI (Tinnitus Handicap Inventory) score is less than 36% (THI score 18-36 = mild tinnitus distress).

When your THI score is more than 36%, the recommendation is to use the main CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme that includes therapist support.

Why Is Therapist-Support Recommended?

The recommendation is based on the results that came from running the original Tinnitus E-Programme as self-directed WITHOUT THERAPIST SUPPORT, and comparing the Outcomes - including Clinical Outcomes - with results for those who had therapist support - feedback here and view course here

There will always be those who prefer to go it alone, so the Self-Directed Tinnitus E-Programme is available.

Where your tinnitus distress is below 36% in your THI score (18-36 = mild tinnitus distress) and you are motivated and self-disciplined enough to stick with the practice for 6 weeks, the Self-Directed course will work for you, and you can bring your THI score down to under 16 (0-16 = no tinnitus distress)

The Self-Directed Tinnitus E-Programme is free to access.

Recent Feedback and Comments

The following are comments from people using the therapist-supported CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme. More feedback is continually being updated in the main CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme landing page

"I still feel the breathing exercises throughout the day are one of the best therapies over the last few months. I intend to carry on with these for as long as needed. They always bring a sense of calming for the nest few hours"

"During the past few months Debbie has provided an excellent understanding of how the brain works and the true meaning of tinnitus"

"Debbie has given me the tools to heal and has literally saved my life"

"I love the way you write and how hopeful I feel after reading these modules. I'm hopeful, uninterested in tinnitus, very still."

"I've been falling asleep in less than 10 minutes. I find that I've become more bored of my tinnitus. I worry for a second 'what if I hear it again?' then I think of something else (automatically not forced) and give it no more thought. It just seems like my brain is finding it harder to focus on the tinnitus sounds."

"I feel a lot less anxious about the future living with tinnitus. I found the course very easy to cope with and enjoyed it!"

"The course was helpful. I feel less anxious now I have a bit more information regarding the way tinnitus works."

"'Coursecraft' was easy to use."

Book an Assessment for Access to the Therapist-Supported Program

There are up to two 1-1 appointments included in the fee (£175) for the main CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme, one of which can be an Assessment should you so choose. I always recommend starting off with an assessment as it enables me to support you from the start.

Or you can do it the other way around:

Ask to book an Assessment (£175) from the main website: Assessment Booking Form  and make sure you have completed at least the THI (Tinnitus Handicap Inventory) and sent it through GO TO THI

You'll have completely free access to CBT for Tinnitus E-Programme following the assessment AND email support throughout
