The recommendation is based on the results that came from running the original Tinnitus E-Programme as self-directed WITHOUT THERAPIST SUPPORT, and comparing the Outcomes - including Clinical Outcomes - with results for those who had therapist support - feedback here and view course here
There will always be those who prefer to go it alone, so the Self-Directed Tinnitus E-Programme is available.
Where your tinnitus distress is below 36% in your THI score (18-36 = mild tinnitus distress) and you are motivated and self-disciplined enough to stick with the practice for 6 weeks, the Self-Directed course will work for you, and you can bring your THI score down to under 16 (0-16 = no tinnitus distress)

How long do I have access to the free self-directed course?
Once you've enrolled on the free self-directed Tinnitus E-Programme, you'll have access for 12 weeks from the date of your enrollment.
