WELCOME! I'm so glad you're here. This course is designed with the "reactive" or problem dog in mind that is often re-homed, returned or overlooked in rescue or shelter life. I wrote this e-course to showcase my year long journey with Grizz, my 7 year old reactive Chow.
We all want to adopt a dog that loves all people, accepts all affection, enjoy all dogs, gets along with the family cat, doesn't bark and is super obedient, oh yeah, and LOVES the vet and groomer! It's a nice want isn't it? But it often isn't reality. Shelter life is chaotic and extremely overstimulating and creates dogs that lose their innate ability to self regulate their hyper manic intensity levels to nice calm states of well-being.
I will show you that a reactive dog CAN be successful in your home, even if you have other dogs! I know, I've done it with a dog aggressive Chow, a human aggressive Chow and one of my Siberian huskies with severe food aggression.
Learn how Grizz went from fathom to a superstar and role model in the Chow Chow Rescue Community (yes, he has his own photo album on the Chow Chow rescue sites!)
This is Grizz (pictured below) before he left the shelter in Tennessee. I want his story to inspire your story.
