Making a Love Box

What to make something special for your loved ones?

How about a gift like this, hang it on the wall or place it on a shelf.

You can create with your loved ones favorite color in mind or with warm wonderful red randomness. I used purple in my recent one.

Many have asked about the love boxes and I usually teach this in a 1-day workshop setting. Where I bring the supplies. There are no videos... but there is this handout that I've made for you all and here in the Coursecraft eCourse. The platform makes it easy for you to download  and get started on it right away.

If you're familiar with a Heat Seal Iron or as I like to call it a Tack Iron then you will be able to understand the process. If New to this process you might want to watch a few of my videos on YouTube.

You can use parchment paper for your release paper and a house iron on cotton setting no steam.

Glazing mediums and Acrylic paints will be used along with coating the surfaces and collage paper with Gloss Medium. Golden is the Brand I like to use.

Coated (gloss medium) scrap papers from past artworks are used, thread, beads, small embellishments and whatever else you would like to make them more personal before you mount them into the box. All stitching and beaded is done first before glue the little hearts in place using foam core to elevate the height of the hearts in your shadow box.

I Invite you today,

to purchase it and let the love boxes share your love.
