Just a quick update today to tell you about a couple new improvements we've made to CourseCraft recently!

ConvertKit and Constant Contact Mailing List Integration

When we first added the mailing list integration feature we asked you to tell us if there were any more email providers you wanted to see. Well a couple helpful CourseCrafters emailed us and said we definitely needed to add ConvertKit and Constant Contact. So here they are! Connect your account on the 'settings' page under 'mailing lists'.

Pagination for the Participant List

I love when we need to do things like this! Some of you have so many people enrolled in your courses that it was making the 'stats' page hard to load. We've now added pagination to the participant list so that page should load much faster now.

New Landing Page Layout

This is a bit of minor change, but we like to keep CourseCraft looking fresh. Check out your course's landing page to see the new and improved header! We hope you like it.

Fixed Potential Issue with Promo Codes

Up until recently, if you had a promo code with special characters or spaces you could have run into some problems. For example, you might have had trouble including a promo code with your course URL. So we decided to just eat any weird characters that could potentially cause you issues down the road. All your old promo codes still work (even if they have this issue) but keep that in mind when you're making new ones.

There's a new Pro feature to tell you about! We've added a new section in the lesson editor that allows you to add a form to your lesson. These forms are really versatile and can be used in lots of different ways! Here are just a few:

  • Would you like some feedback from your participants?
  • Want to add a little quiz to one of your lessons?
  • How about having participants send you a file?

All of these things can be accomplished using the new form! Let me tell you about how it works.

It's just like adding any other media to your lessons. On the lesson edit page, start by clicking the +form button. If your course isn't Pro, you'll be prompted to upgrade here. Then you can start adding items to your form. Right now we have 'short answer', 'multiple choice' and 'file upload' to choose from.

Short Answer: gives the participant a text box where they can type an answer your question.

Multiple Choice: participants can choose their answer from a list you provide.

File Upload: gives the participant a spot to upload a file (like a PDF or an image)

You can continue adding as many items to your form as you need. You can also add multiple forms per lesson if you want. Just like the other blocks in the editor, you can click the gear icon on the right side for more options. Here you can give your form a name and specify if you want it locked at submission. That means you can either have participants be able to fill out the form as many times as they want or just once.

What happens when someone fills out my form?

When someone submits a form in your course, you'll get an email notification about it. It will tell you what form it was and the name of the person who filled it out. There will also be a link to view the submission.

If you don't want to receive emails about this, you can turn off notifications in your profile settings.

You can view a list of all form submissions by visiting the 'stats' page of your course. Click on a form title to view a list of all submissions and click on a specific submission to see what that participant said. On that page you can even send an email to the participant if you like!

We hope you love this new feature and get a lot of use out of it! For a more detailed look at how to use forms, be sure to check out the help doc. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at
